Here are some frequently asked memory bear questions and answers that might be of help. I understand you may have many more, please do not hesitate to contact or call me for guidance. There are materials that work best, but what is important is what's most special, loved and remembered by you and your loved one. Anything from a flannel shirt, robes, loved scrappy blanket, a blouse, sweater or jeans to pajamas or even a single handkerchief. Sweaters or sweatshirts to wedding dresses and uniforms all make special memory bears. If you are afforded a choice, materials such as cotton, flannel, denim, khaki, and sweaters work great, I've made bears from scraps of blankets and even socks. For baby bears we can use blankets, onesies, and even maternity clothing. Quilted, padded, coats, leather are all still options, there will just be an additional charge. A man's short sleeved shirt will make about 3 smaller bears or 1 medium or large bear.
A sweatshirt will make 3-4 small, 2 medium or 1 large bear. My designs are very detailed with many small pattern pieces so I don't need a lot of material. If your one article is not enough, we can consider making them part furry-faced bears or I can supplement with coordinating material.
Yes please, and kindly ask to avoid dryer sheets or fabric softeners if possible, thank you.
No, they are not. TammyBears are not toys.
TammyBears are primarily for holding, hugging, comforting, and sharing.
They aren't meant to be played with by young children. Most have sewn in eyes, buttons, pins and other small parts.
TammyBears are not toys and you are receiving your bears with this knowledge.

Normal completion time is about 4/5 months depending on
time of year and amount of orders I have in queue.
